It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce that Keith passed away unexpectedly on November 22, 2016. A service celebrating his life was held at Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Chapel Hill, NC on the morning of November 26.

Thank you for visiting the website of Keith Henderson – award winning Elvis Tribute Artist based in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

My family and I have been so blessed to be able to travel throughout the country and perform my show “Illusions of The King” – a true tribute to the greatest entertainer of all time. I have loved Elvis Presley and his music all of my life. I want to keep his memory alive and positive for all the fans and youth that come to our shows.

Through our travels, we have made so many friends, and I want to thank you all for your continued support.

    • I am so very very sorry about Keith I pray that he knew just what a great person he was and that he more than once made me smile and feel very happy just for being the care person he was. I loved to listen to him sing it was just like ELVIS was still alive he felt the same way about Elvis as I did and I never felt crazy when I could talk to him about Elvis he knew what I was thinking. I want to thank him and Sara for all the kind th imgs fheyor me I will always remember the time I went with them to meet one of Elvis friends I will never forget that Keith and Sara took me with them. I know he is singing today and is happy I will always remember him and miss him Rest in Peace my friend until we meet again.

  24. I am sadden by the passing of Keith. I’m sitting here in tears and a broken heart. I met him & Sarah years ago when he performed at the Chesterfield County Fair in Chesterfield Va. Ever since then I’ve been at All his Shows. He honestly was the only thing I looked forward to at the fair. What great memories I will cherish. It won’t be the same now.   26. I went to a number of Keith’s concert and they were all GREAT. He was such a great entertainer, family man, and Christian. He will surely be missed because he did so much for others. I last saw him on October 15th in Dunn performing for a Fundraiser for a man battling cancer.

    My prayers go out to his wonderful family. Even though he is missed here on earth this was his temporary home and he is in Heaven now.

  29. There really are no words to say how sorry I am for your loss. Keith will me missed by so many. He was an incredible entertainer and genuinely nice person. I am praying for your family as you attempt to go on. God bless you and give you the strength to endure this.

  31. My heart is broken. I worked as activity director in nursing homes for 32 years. I carried my residents to see Keith on several occasions. One of my residents loved Elvis so much, her room was decorated with Elvis décor. Keith made her feel so special. He made sure she was on the front row and he sang “Love me Tender” to her while placing that gold, autographed scarf around her neck. He even carried her backstage to his dressing room. Keith loved the Lord and his family, as was evidenced by his onstage comments. Prayers go out for his family. May God comfort you as you smile at the memories of this great man.

  32. Keith performed at our Uncle Billy’s Day in Altavista; he was truly a great performer and so graciously acknowledged his fans. We send our prayers and sympathy to his family.

  33. I’ve known Keith my whole life and the whole time I’ve known him, he’s done nothing, but make me feel special. He always gave the best hugs and that is something I’ll never forget. I have some of the most precious photos of my time with Keith, whether it be us dancing on stage, hugging one another, or laughing. My condolences go out to the family, he will always remain in my heart.

  34. I have been to Keith’s shows and have been a part of sponsoring two of his shows. I have no doubt that Keith is with the King of Kings today; our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! He is probably singing with Elvis for Thanksgiving!

  39. My Heart is so sad. I am sorry to learn of the passing of Keith. I saw him many times here in NC and even in my home town of Chesterfield County, Va when it was county fair time! Such a kind man with a huge heart. I fell truly blessed to have seen and talked with him over the years. He wil truly be missed.   40. RIP Keith Henderson <3 Prayers for his family and friends. I saw him in 2006 at JCC in Smithfield. I went to the stage when he was singing and he got down on one knee, he sang to me and put a signed gold scarf around my neck and kissed me on the cheek, I still have the scarf. He was fantastic. So sad to hear of his passing.

  41. To Sara and Keith’s family, I extend my most sincere sympathy. As a true Elvis fan I am not usually impressed by individuals who try to impersonate Elvis. Keith didn’t try to impersonate Elvis, he kept Elvis alive for us. He had a God given talent and we were so blessed that he chose to share that talent with others.   46. I saw Keith’s 1st performance in Carrboro back in 1978. Photographed him in the Caribbean. Keith and I corresponded & he sent me several CD’s signed to me. My grandparents (Clara & June Merritt) were friends with Keith’s parents at church. My cousin kept telling Keith to pursue his music talents while at Chapel Hill High School. Keith came to my new hometown in Hendersonville to perform at the Apple Festival. He was always a class act. For those of us that never saw Elvis perform, we sure felt like we had after spending time with Keith. My mother told me our entire family was in shock yesterday. I have been since I found out from her a few hours ago. My prayers are with his beautiful family and his legion of friends & fans.

  48. I meet Keith at the state fair and it was like being in heaven listening to him sing I would close my eyes and it was like the real Elvis was singing and I would not take anything for that moment. His memories will live on and he is now in the arms of our LOrd and we all shall see him again

  49. I have been coming to his shows since I was a little girl. He will be greatly missed!! :'( I wish I could of made it to the Chesterfield Fair this year so I could of seen him one last time, but my grandmother did stand in line and get me a CD and Keith signed it to me and for my surprise it was for my birthday.   50. We will always remember having Keith and Sarah in our home for a Sunday lunch. It was fun and entertaining to hear his story of how he began his tribute to Elvis and all the places he had visited for concerts. The one he held at the Don Gibson Theater (Shelby, NC) on June 8, 2013 for the Cleveland County Parkinson Disease Fund was outstanding. What Keith, Sarah, and the band accomplished that night will be cherished for years to come. Sarah, may God bless you and your family.

  51. Keith will be miss. He was a great friend. I worked with him for many years, cruise with him and follow him to many of his shows. Great shows and good music. I was at his service on Saturday and you can tell he was loved by many fan. Most of them there. Love his family, so nice to be around. Had a great band . Words are so hard to go on, but his children said it All Saturday. RIP Keith.

  53. We were so sadden to hear of Keith’s passing, our thoughts and prayers are with the family. We first met Keith at Hog Day in the mid-90’s , he came in on a cadillac , we were fans from that day on. we went to several shows and Pam worked with the Erwin Chamber and invited Keith to perform with his full band for Denim Days event in Erwin NC. It was an awesome performance . Since he had made many more appearances in Harnett County . HE will surely be missed !

  54. My whole family was shocked & saddened to learn of Keith’s passing. My husband Gil & I first met Keith & Sarah at a show her performed at the J.C. Jones Community Bld. in Apex, NC. As newcomers to his show, we ended up on the stage. It was a fun time. We saw Keith in other venues but the two special ones were his entertaining at our 50th wedding celebration and just a few months ago at my 80th birthday party. He was an amazing singer and a wonderful person. His wife Sarah was also very special to us. He will be missed. Heartfelt thoughts & prayers go out to Sarah and the entire family. I like to think that my husband Gil & daughter Karen (lost in July of this year) are listening to Keith sing once again in the heavenly choir.

  55. We have truly lost a great person! Everybody who knows him says the same thing, “He really cared about people. He loved his God his wife and his family. Keith has a treasured talent that will also be sorely missed.
    My heart breaks for His family. It truly hurts as almost any one of us who loved him will say.

  56. OMG – there are simply NO words as to how sad this news (just reached me today) about Keith’s death. I just a few weeks ago brought up his wonderful voice on line and posted something on my FB page about how great his voice was.

    To think that this beautiful person’s voice has been silenced and he left us too soon is beyond heartbreaking.

  57. Oh my just found out on December 3rd, I just couldn’t believe the news of his sudden passing. The Chesterfield CountyFair, Virginia will not be the same without him.His.
    singing could get me dancing for sure. His faith and his patriotism was so amazing and how he displayed within his shows was so fantastic. To the family I know that heaven is having amother fantastic angel.

He brought joy to so many including my Dad while he was battling cancer.   62. I am so saddened by this news today. For no real reason I googled Keith’s name to see what he was doing, and saw an obituary.I was shocked. My wife and I enjoyed his show at the High Point Furniture Market last April And October. He was so gracious and cordial to us. We are older and he would ask me for requests. You could tell he really loved what he was doing and really Loved his wife. In october, I complimented him on his weight loss and he looked so good. We will miss him at the next market as we made a special effort to see him each market.

It is a said day learning about Keith’s sudden death I seen Kieth at the Chesterfield County Fair Virginia 3 years ago I had given keep a 45 by Elvis and Linda Ronstadt singing Love Me Tender and every time I seen him at the day at the fair he thanked me over and over and he loved it so much I’m sure he’s up there singing with Elvis now can you imagine them too jamming together that would be one great sight a great person gone way too soon but he won’t be forgot and I could tell you when I go to the Chesterfield County Fair every year it surely won’t be the same without you there rest in peace Keith and my prayers go out to Sarah and family may God be with you

  65. My dad and I seen one of Keith’s show at riverside high school sometime ago. His show was fantastic and after the show my dad and I got to meet him and talked with him and he had a great personality.we will miss him greatly I just can’t believe he’s gone but I know him and Elvis are doing concerts in heaven my family sends our prayers to the family and condolences to the family and our heart breaks for his family by the way we are friends of Tommy bullock of bullocks bar b que the greatest food place in Durham nc I did meet Keith and Sara there once and he was kind courteous and very polite he had Elvis heart I seen Keith’s picture at the restaurant but we are truly sorry for the loss of Keith but I have several of his CDs thanks for listening god bless the family and goodbye.
